Newquay is famous for its coastline and has numerous beaches, with several excellent for surfing. The nearest beach is Porth, approximately two miles away. Newquay Zoo and Waterworld are popular attractions, also around two miles from Quintrell Downs. Hendra Tourist Park is only one mile away, and is open to non residents for swimming; it has an indoor pool with multiple flumes and an outdoor pool. The National Trust Elizabethan Manor of Trerice, is also near, it is a beautiful property in a very peaceful setting. For families with children Dairyland is an award winning farm activity park only a mile away. There are many activities nearby for everyone to enjoy, whatever the weather.
